こんにちは、信州のリンゴ農家、アップルアートです。
今日は、私たちが1年かけて試作・開発してきた新商品『アップルコーヒー』について、皆さんに少しだけ“開発の裏側”をお話させてください。
「りんご×コーヒー」って、ありそうでなかった組み合わせ
長野といえば「りんご」──そんなイメージを持ってくださる方も多いですよね。
私たちアップルアート農園は、立科町でりんごを育てながら、りんごの魅力をもっと広げる方法はないかと、日々試行錯誤しています。
その中で生まれたのがこの『アップルコーヒー』。
「特別な時に飲みたくなる、長野らしい一杯を届けたい」そんな思いから開発がスタートしました。
無添加・無香料で、りんごの香りをまとわせる挑戦
使用したのは、私たちの農園で育てた甘く、香り高い“シナノスイート”。
そして、合わせるコーヒー豆には、なんと世界的にも人気の高い“ゲイシャ”種を使用しています。
実は……
「コーヒーにりんごの香りをつける」って、すごく難しいんです。
人工香料を使えば簡単。でも、私たちが目指したのは“自然な香りだけ”で仕上げた、体にも心にもやさしい一杯でした。
何度も失敗しながらも、佐久市の「標高800コーヒー」さんと一緒に、1年かけてようやく納得のいく味に仕上がりました。
特別な時間にそっと寄り添う、優雅なコーヒーです。
この『アップルコーヒー』は、日常の中の“ちょっと特別な時間”にぴったりです。

The Story Behind the Birth of “Apple Coffee” – Packed with the Essence of Nagano
Hello from Apple Art Farm!
Today, we’d love to share a little behind-the-scenes story about our brand-new product, Apple Coffee, which took us a full year to develop through trial and error.
Apples × Coffee — A Combination That’s Surprisingly Rare
When you think of Nagano, many people immediately think of apples.
At Apple Art Farm, located in Nakano City, we’ve been cultivating apples for years — while constantly wondering, “How can we share their charm in new and exciting ways?”
That’s how Apple Coffee was born.
The idea started with a simple wish: “Let’s create a special coffee that evokes the spirit of Nagano — a cup you’ll want to enjoy on meaningful occasions.”
The Challenge: A Natural Apple Aroma with No Additives or Artificial Flavoring
We used aromatic Fuji apples grown right here on our farm.
To pair with the apples, we selected the globally renowned Geisha coffee beans, known for their elegant, fruity flavor.
But here’s something not many people realize:
Infusing real apple aroma into coffee is extremely difficult.
Sure, we could’ve added artificial flavoring — but that’s not what we wanted.
What we aimed for was a naturally aromatic, additive-free coffee that’s gentle on the body and the heart.
After countless trials and errors, and with the help of Altitude 800 Coffee, a specialty roaster in Saku City, we finally achieved a flavor we were proud of — a full year later.
